For 2025, we wanted to widen the lens. We built the campaign around the idea of “Love, in so many ways” — celebrating not just romantic love, but friendship, self-love, family, and the small gestures in between. To bring that spirit to life, we partnered with our in-house photographers and stylists to create a tactile, paper-crafted world — one that felt like stepping inside a handmade Valentine. Hearts fluttered and radiated through the space. Products weren’t just displayed; they were nestled into scenes of papery whimsy, each framed as a thoughtful, personal gesture waiting to be given. Beyond the visual storytelling, this moment also marked the launch of our new homepage hero system. The campaign became a testing ground for a more immersive, personalized entry point — inviting customers into the story rather than simply presenting them with products. It was integral that we include portraits of the women we were recognizing, but with a range of photos from different photographers, we were posed with the challenge of making our honorees live in the same visual world. We decided to treat the portraits with a similar black and white treatment, but add visual interest through incorporating a gradient texture, custom type for each honoree's name, and the inclusion of graphic shapes, which also helped break up large bodies of text. For the Lookbook, we shot and interviewed a diverse group of real students, featured throughout the catalog. These lifestyle images were featured alongside shoppable product, that customers could access through scanning a QR code. The design system we established for the event was used in the on-site event hub as well as other offsite promotion, making the shopping experience identifiable across touchpoints for the customer.
